3IRD - 3D infra-red people counting
 3IRD is a standalone, omnidirectional people counting system that uses the very latest in vision systems and 3D infra-red sensor technology.
Most regular cameras are limited because they cannot perceive depth, however 3IRD views a scene in 3 dimensions, thereby enabling it to distinguish between people and other objects with unprecedented accuracy.
3IRD calculates the number of people passing through doorways, passageways or in open areas (including outdoors) and combines these counts to provide trends in traffic counts, occupancy, dwell times and flow.
